• Short term need: Smaller engineering firms only need to certify and do a trial compliance run every so often.
• Eliminate maintenance and upkeep cost: Calibrating a unit once a year can be a costly service, and always seems to fall during that urgent time when the ESD simulator gun is absolutely needed.
• Bi-pass Capital Acquisition: Rentals come from an expense budget which are favorable to both taxes and managerial approval for large $ transactions.
• Trial Period: Some customers aren't sure if ESD testing is something they want to bring in-house or leave to the EMC test labs.
